Hi! I’m Amanda, owner and photographer at We Are Twine. I document heartfelt moments with joy and creativity, producing light and bright images with a fine art feel.
I bring my calm, creative and joyful energy to each session. Through my approach, I help you become comfortable in front of the camera and enjoy the session. I offer lots of guidance for you to look and feel at ease, capturing candid images naturally in a fun and heartfelt manner. I love chasing golden hour and am up for getting lost in any chosen location.
I make the process simple and help organise the details leading up to the event and offer recommendations for a unique and well thought out experience.
I feel honoured to have been photographing weddings and portraits for 10+ years and take each session as a unique experience. It’s all about intertwining your story on the day through authentic and joyful moments.

How does it work?
Providing a boutique service to all clients, I will manage the planning process and give ongoing support.
I am available to meet with you before the wedding day in person, via phone or video, making the process the most convenient for you.
Lots of advice to help prepare for your session is available, including location and time of day options, clothing guidance and vendor recommendations.
During your session, I provide as much or as little guidance as you would like, so that you look and feel your best, bringing out your authentic self.
After the event, I will assist in displaying your beautiful images and provide high quality, local and professional artworks and fine art albums to showcase your images in your home.

Amanda and the team are absolutely amazing. Amanda has captured our engagement, wedding and newborn baby shots and we couldn’t be happier. For 2 people who don’t like our photos being taken, Amanda made it feel natural and effortless. Our Byron Bay wedding day photos are stunning. She captured every moment and more and we cherish these amazing memories.
When we had our second child we wanted to have some family photos done. We didn’t think twice and booked in Amanda to do them. She was so wonderful with not only our newborn baby whom she captured so beautifully, but also our 2 year old who was a bit of a handful. Amanda was kind, patient and just so lovely with our terrible toddler and the end result were beautiful photos we absolutely adore. Amanda is just simply amazing!
I spent months trying to find a wedding photographer that I loved and could trust and when my husband and I met Amanda she was bubbly, excited and interested in our wishes and ideas. The packages Amanda offer are awesome - we went with the 9 hour package and an engagement shoot with our doggy, Heidi! Once we saw the engagement photos we were so excited to have Amanda capture our special day! On the day Amanda and her assistant were lovely, relaxing and calm (made me feel calm) they took gorgeous photos and we have been loving the few photos that have been posted on social media since our big day!!

Amanda from We Are Twine is Amazing! We chose the "Heartfelt Package" which was both perfect and amazing value for us which allowed for both Amanda and her assistant to be with us from 12pm to 8pm allowing all the important parts of the day to be captured at a relaxed pace.
On the day Amanda and her assistant were lovely, professional and had a calming presence.
They took some absolutely stunning and gorgeous photos and we are loving the photos that have been posted on social media since our big day.
