The warm and fuzzies – that pretty much summed up Mel & Tim’s wedding day.
It’s so exciting when you get to photograph your good friend’s wedding day, and throughout the process, being told little pieces of top-secret information about the day to come.
It was also absolutely adorable to have the groom as excited as the bride in the lead up to the big day.
Seeing Mel in her blush gown was breathtaking and we all were couldn’t keep our eyes off those glittery heels. The girly-girl in me was tickled pink.
It was an extremely humid day and with a storm predicted during the ceremony, we pushed it back just a little to find the super-cell had forked overhead.
There was not a dry eye in the house when Mel walked down the aisle. Having her mother beside her was such a proud and emotive moment for the family.
I think Tim’s reaction was simply priceless, and made the moment for us all that much more special and teary too.
Wandering around the ever so picturesque Boomerang Farm with the bridal party was a joy.
It is always so beautiful to see a bridal party so attentive to the bride and groom – plus, they definitely ‘worked’ the location shoot!
I must also make mention of the most hilarious MC there ever was – Kurty – who kept everyone entertained and in stitches.
Mel & Tim’s enchanted woodland wedding was such a joyful and breathtaking day.
